OSW Football Wins Big

Author and WHS Grad Speaks  | On Friday October 31, author Tom Hazuka, visited Westbrook High School Library Media Center to discuss his newest novel Last Chance for First, and also his writing background. | | English teachers Mrs. Kathy Womer-Zocco, Mr. Craig Hall, and Miss Caitlin Eichler brought their classes to listen to Tom. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions, especially those pertaining to English. Tom Hazuka is a former Westbrook resident and currently teaches fiction writing at Central Connecticut State University. Last Chance for First is loosely based on his experiences at Westbrook High School as a former student and soccer player. |
