Senior, Jeremy Buck was honored as student of the month for his consistent dedication, creativity and curiosity.  Whatever subject or activity Jeremy is involved in he invests himself fully and enthusiastically.	Senior, Ryan Pape was honored at the October Rotary Club "Student of the Month" breakfast as WHS' outstanding student in English.

Senior, Jaclyn Mathieu was honored as student of the month.  She has taken a leadership role in a number of recent projects including adopting a local family for the holidays.  She was nominated for the award by Mr. Savage who said, "She has really developed into a powerhouse student leader and is setting an excellent example for others with her proactive attitude."	Dianne Wills was honored as WHS's Rotary Student of the Month in the area of Social Studies

Junior Amanda Bagley  According to Miss Ricketson, who nominated her, "Amanda is truly an asset to our school community.  She is always pleasant and respectful to teachers and students alike.  She is a positive influence on her peers, often encouraging them to do the "right" thing.  She not only listens to teachers but also takes the initiative to promote positive behavior and attitude to those round her.  Amanda certainly makes our school a more pleasant place to be."	Spencer Gartner was honored as WHS's Rotary Student of the Month in the area of Mathematics

Junior Rob Frawley is this Month's Student of the Month.  Rob was honored because of all the work he has done this fall in deploying and configuring various technologies through out the school.	David Dubuc was honored as WHS's Rotary Student of the Month in the area of English

Congratulations for our students of the month for the 2004-05 school year!

Congratulations to Student of the Month for April -  Tara Ireland.  Tara was nominated by Mrs. Hammond for her positive attitude, friendly personality and outstanding contributions in every area in which she is involved.

Nonminated by Mrs. Toth, Megan Pitts was recognized as our Student of the Month for March. Megan's Photography has been recognized with a Gold Portfolio award from the 2005 Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards and her had two photographs exhibited in the Future Choices Art Show sponsored by the Shoreline Alliance for the Arts.

Steve Cote was nominated by Mrs. Hammond in recognition of his outstanding effort and great attitude in Concert Choir and all his other classes too!

Chad Lewis was recognized for his outstanding attitude and for taking a leadership role in the English webquest project where he assisted his teammates in surpassing Mr. Albrecht's expectations.

Emily Bancroft was our inaugural student of the month! Emily was nominated by Mr. McCray for her outstanding attitude, cooperation and significant support for her classmates in class.
