Project Graduation 2012

WESTBROOK PROJECT SAFE GRADUATION 2012

Dear Parent/Guardian of High School Senior,

Project Safe Graduation 2012 is a group of volunteer parents working independently of the Westbrook School System and Westbrook Board of Education. Our purpose is to raise money for our graduating seniors. Our funds help pay for graduation activities which includes the baccalaureate ceremony, graduation day balloons, yearbook supplement and safe grad night trip.

Our meetings take place at Westbrook High School on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the library. Please join us so that we can plan this year’s fundraising and the safe grad night trip. Even if you can’t attend our meetings, you can still help with our fundraisers.

Please return the enclosed form with your $50.00 Graduation Activity Fee check. This deposit is required from each high school senior even if they are not participating in the safe grad night trip. This deposit is in addition to the class dues and covers the baccalaureate ceremony, graduation day balloons and yearbook supplement*.

In the spring, each senior might have to pay money in addition to the $50 deposit to go on the safe grad night trip. This amount could vary depending on how successful our fundraising efforts are. For this reason we need everyone’s involvement. PLEASE GET INVOLVED by volunteering at some of our events AND by attending each event. Also, please sell tickets and spread the word to family and friends. We will send out reminders throughout the year for each event.

If you have any questions or comments please contact Jackie Rominski at 860-399-7432 or queenjackness@gmail.com, or Deb Strukus at 860-3995133 or dstrukus@yahoo.com. We look forward to seeing you and working together for our kids!

* The yearbook supplement is a separate book that is published for our high school seniors. It covers all of the springtime activities, sports, prom, etc., that is not covered in the regular yearbook.
