Application Processing Options

The Guidance Department is offering College Application Workshops during the month of November.  Just show up - in the Guidance Department immediately after school on the following Wednesdays:
  • November 8
  • November 15
  • November 29
 

 

All college applications require that your high school transcript be sent from the high school guidance department.  At Westbrook High School there are 2 options for you to arrange this.

 

PROCEDURE A – You mail the application and the guidance department sends supporting material (transcript and counselor recommendation).  You must officially request that we mail your transcript.  This is done by filling out a “green card” request form in the Guidance Office.  It takes ten days for us to process your request, so be sure to act well before the application deadline.  Note:  the 10 day notice does not include vacation days.  Plan accordingly.

 

PROCEDURE B – After you have completed your application and attached a check, the guidance office will include the supporting material (transcript and counselor recommendation).  You must officially request that we

mail your transcript.  This is done by filling out a “green card” request form in the Guidance Office.  It takes 30 days for us to process your request and mail the transcript, so be sure to act well before the application deadline.
